Counseling services for adult individuals and couples
Hi, I'm Allie. If you are carrying depression, grief, and trauma, or feeling unheard and pressured to move on before you're ready, you're not alone. You want to find your voice, build honest connections, and heal without having to be perfect. Therapy can be a place to start easing some of the weight that comes with being human.
I provide therapy for adult individuals experiencing challenges related to grief and loss, mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress, anxiety, relational challenges, and life transitions. I also provide counseling services for couples experiencing challenges related to grief and loss, feelings of disconnection, and life transitions.
My approach is person-centered and trauma informed. I draw from cognitive behavioral, family systems, and psychodynamic therapies. I offer a relational, strengths-based approach to support healing. I utilize a warm and direct approach, emphasizing self-compassion, disputation of the inner critic, and moving toward values that are most important to you.
I hold Master of Education (MEd) and Education Specialist (EdS) degrees in Counselor Education, with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from Clemson University. I have been providing counseling services for five years, with post-graduate positions in outpatient psychiatry, hospitals, and private practice. I see individuals and couples under the supervision of Margo Rice, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, ACS, and direction of Meg McLeroy, LMFT,
